1. Who We Are
SplitWin is operated by SolutionC LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our A/B testing and conversion optimization platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information (SplitWin Users):
- Name and email address (at registration)
- Password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Plan selection and usage data
Visitor Data (Website Visitors tracked by SplitWin):
When a SplitWin user installs the tracking snippet on their website, we collect the following from their website visitors:

We do NOT collect: names, email addresses, IP addresses (for visitor tracking), passwords, payment information, or any form field contents from website visitors.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide the A/B testing and optimization service
- To generate AI-powered variant suggestions (page content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API)
- To calculate statistical significance and determine winning variants
- To send transactional emails (password resets, billing notifications)
- To improve the platform and fix bugs
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Anthropic — page content sent for AI variant generation (processed under their data policy; not used for training)
- Law enforcement — only when legally required
5. Cookies & Tracking
SplitWin's dashboard uses a session cookie for authentication. The tracking snippet on customer websites uses localStorage (not cookies) to store the anonymous visitor ID and variant assignment. See our Cookie Policy for details.
6. Data Processing (GDPR)
SplitWin acts as a Data Processor on behalf of our users (the Data Controllers). Our users are responsible for:
- Obtaining consent from their website visitors where required
- Displaying a cookie/tracking consent banner on their website
- Including SplitWin in their own privacy policy
We process data under the legal basis of legitimate interest (website optimization) and contractual obligation (providing the service you signed up for).
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — export your test data (CSV export available in-app)
- Objection — opt out of data processing
- Do Not Sell (CCPA) — we do not sell personal information

8. Data Security
We protect your data with:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
- Hashed passwords (bcrypt)
- CSRF protection on all forms
- Rate limiting on API endpoints
- Regular security reviews
9. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Test/visitor data is retained for the duration of your tests. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
SplitWin is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email.
